Stone and Tiled Floor Cleaning
“Don’t Fret About Your Dirty Stone Or Ceramic Tile Floors… We Can Bring Them Back To Life.”
And we can apply a Sealer to Keep Them Looking Great for Longer!
Your natural limestone and slate floor tiles, your ceramic tile and grout, can be thoroughly cleaned and sealed to make them all look fresh and clean.
It can be surprising how even with regular mopping the grout always looks dirty, as it attracts the soil. Now the grout can be cleaned to look as good as possible. The old days of mops and toothbrushes are gone forever!! Our cleaning process flushes out more dirt than a mop and bucket ever could.
With new technology your tile and grout can be cleaned with highly pressurised hot water, with complete precision control and soil removal, giving you a truly thorough deep clean!
Then a professional application of an impregnating sealer, which does what it says … impregnates your tiles and / or grout and gives an invisible protective barrier, will leave your floors so much easier to clean.
Did you know most tile fitters never seal the tiles or grout they fit!!.. you could damage your floor by spilling some everyday products you have in your kitchen or bathroom. Now your surfaces can be cleaned and sealed.
What Happens During the Cleaning Process?
- We inspect your floor: this is to identify any limitations like stain removal, loss of loose grout surrounding surfaces sensitive to cleaning solutions and any other areas that needs consideration before the cleaning starts
- We protect your walls and furniture: this is to limit overspray on to sensitive areas during the cleaning process. Please note no guarantee can be made that materials that are extremely sensitive to moisture might not show some form of exposure to our cleaning solutions.
- Dry soil removal: we will remove any dry soil and dirt before any water based cleaning takes place
- Apply cleaning solution to the floor: This can be by means of sprayer or directly from a container with pre-mixed cleaning solutions
- Agitation: This is done by means of a rotary cleaning machine or by hand depending on the areas to be cleaned.
- Rinse: Slurry (Dirt from the floor and cleaning solution mixed together) are rinsed and extracted from the surface of the floor using our pressurised cleaning equipment.
- Drying: After the cleaning process has been completed, we will clean up and dry areas. In cases where stone or tile has a high porosity, drying can take up to 12 hours
- Sealing / Impregnation: we offer 2 types of protection for your floor:
- A topical sealer adds a coating to the surface of the stone or tile. This is done to protect against spills or other contaminants causing permanent stains.
- An Impregnator penetrates below the surface of the stone, tile or grout and acts as a repellent.
